About dog sledding
So what's dog sledding? Traditionally dog sledding or mushing was a utilitarian way of hauling supplies, hunting, trapping and travelling in the arctic north of America and Asia using artic breed dogs such as Huskies and Malmutes. Today it is a recreation and sport made famous by the 'Iditarod' dog sled race.
No snow? No problem. Join us for some "Dryland Sledding". Instead of a sled, try a scooter, rig or cart, mountain bike or just run with your dog. Dog sledding is a recreation you can enjoy with your dogs to keep them motivated, healthy and social and you benefit as well. More on sled sports..
